67F090 - Sensata Technologies Function Overview

The 67F090 from Airpax is a positive snap action, single pole/single throw, subminiature bimetallic disc thermostat in 2 pin TO-220 package. It provides accurate, reliable sensing and switching in a single device. The 67F090 can be automatically placed and soldered onto PC boards with high speed automated equipment by eliminating the need for expensive hand placement and termination. It provides fast, positive response with excellent repeatability. This thermostat has a switch capability of up to 0.5A for 48VDC and achieves low level switching down to 0.001A to 0.020A at 5VDC for 100000 cycles. Thermal conductivity is mainly through terminals and mounting bracket make the unit ideal for both surface mount and ambient air sensing. The 67F090 thermostat will close (make contact) on a rising temperature from 85°C to 95°C and will reset open on falling temperature within window of no greater than 6°C lower than actual close temperature and no less than 60°C ambient temperature.
