●Product Details
●Silicon Bipolar VGA with integrated Square Law Detector
●The AD8367 is a high-performance variable gain amplifier designed to be used at IF frequencies up to 500 MHz. An externally applied analog gain control voltage of 0 to 1 volt, scales the 45 dB of gain control range to provide 20 mV/dB output. The precise linear-dB gain control is achieved with a proprietary X-AMP™ architecture, consisting of a variable attenuator network fed by a Gaussian interpolator yielding precise linear gain adjustment.
●In addition the AD8367 has an integrated square law detector, which enables the part to be used as an AGC solution and provides a detected received signal strength indication (RSSI) output voltage.
●The AD8367 has been specified for operation at common IF frequencies 70 MHz, 140 MHz, 190 MHz and 240 MHz found in the cellular CDMA / GSM and W-CDMA applications.
●The AD8367 is fabricated on a high performance silicon bipolar process, package in 14-lead thin shrunk small outline (TSSOP) package fully specified over –40°C to +85°C temperature range.
