CD4053BE - TI Function Overview

The CD4053BE is a CMOS differential, triple, two channel analogue multiplexer/demultiplexer with logic level conversion in 16 pin DIP package. It is digitally controlled analogue switch having low ON impedance and very low OFF leakage current. This multiplexer circuit dissipate extremely low quiescent power over the full VDD - VSS and VDD - VEE supply voltage ranges which is independent of logic state of control signals.

Wide range of digital and analogue signal levels (digital: 3V to 20V, analogue :
Low on-resistance is typically 125ohm over 15V peak to peak voltage
Binary address decoding on chip
5V, 10V and 15V parametric ratings
100% tested for quiescent current at 20V
Maximum input current of 1µA at 18V over full temperature range and 100nA at 18V and 25°C
Break before make switching eliminates channel overlap
Supply voltage range from 5V to 18V
Operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
This device has limited built-in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to MOS gates.
