MAX2606EUT+T - Maxim Integrated Function Overview

The MAX2606EUT+T is a 70MHz to 150MHz, integrated intermediate frequency (IF) voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) with differential/single ended output in 6 pin SOT-23 package. This compact, high performance IF VCO combines monolithic construction with low noise and low power operation in tiny SOT-23 package. It has an on-chip varactor and feedback capacitors that eliminate the need for external tuning elements. Only an external inductor is required to set oscillation frequency. In addition, an integrated differential output buffer is provided for driving mixer or prescaler. The buffer output is capable of supplying up to -8dBm (differential) with simple power match. It also provides isolation from load impedance variations. The MAX2606 is used in general purpose IF oscillators, GPS receivers, land mobile radio, 902MHz to 928MHz ISM band and 2.4GHz ISM band applications.
