MCP4725A0T-E/CH - Microchip Function Overview

The MCP4725A0T-E/CH is a single channel, buffered voltage output 12bit digital to analogue converter (DAC) with EEPROM memory in 6 pin SOT-23 package. Its on-board precision output amplifier allows it to achieve rail to rail analogue output. This low power, high accuracy DAC input and configuration data can be programmed to non volatile memory (EEPROM) by user using I2C interface command. The non volatile memory feature enables the DAC device to hold DAC input code during power off time and DAC output is available immediately after power up. The MCP4725 includes power on reset (POR) circuit to ensure reliable power up and an on-board charge pump for EEPROM programming voltage. It has two wire I2C compatible serial interface for standard (100KHz), fast (400KHz) or high speed (3.4MHz) mode.
