PIC18LF4550-I/PT - Microchip Function Overview

The PIC18LF4550-I/PT is a high-performance enhanced flash USB Microcontroller with nanoWatt technology. Ideal for low power (nanoWatt) and connectivity applications that benefit from the availability of three serial ports of FS-USB(12Mbps), I²C™ and SPI™ (up to 10Mbps) and an asynchronous (LIN capable) serial port (EUSART). Large amounts of RAM memory for buffering and Enhanced Flash program memory make it ideal for embedded control and monitoring applications that require periodic connection with a (legacy free) personal computer via USB for data upload/download or firmware updates. The PIC18F4550 family introduces design enhancements that make this microcontroller a logical choice for many high-performance and power sensitive applications. The PIC18F4550 incorporate a different oscillator and microcontroller clock system than previous PIC18F devices.
