The 74HCT14D is a hex inverting schmitt trigger in 14 pin SOIC package. This high speed Si-gate CMOS device is pin compatible with low power schottky TTL (LSTTL). It is specified in compliance with JEDEC standard number 7A. The 74HCT14D provides six inverting buffers with schmitt trigger action. It is capable of transforming slowly changing input signals into sharply defined and jitter free output signals. Typical application includes wave and pulse shapers, astable multivibrators and monostable multivibrators.
