The AD5660ARJZ-1500RL7 is a low power single 16-bit buffered voltage-out Digital-to-analog Converter (DAC) includes an internal 2.5V, 5ppm/°C reference giving a full-scale output voltage range of 5V. The reference associated with each part is available at the VREFOUT pin. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC output powers up to 0V and remains until a valid write takes place. The part contains a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 480nA at 5V and provides software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. The power consumption is 2.5mW at 5V reducing to 1µW in power-down mode. The on-chip precision output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved. It uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 30MHz and is compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™ and DSP interface standards.
● Guaranteed monotonic by design
● 3 Power-down functions
● Serial interface with Schmitt-triggered inputs
● Rail-to-rail operation
● SYNC interrupt facility
