The ADL5511-EVALZ is an evaluation board for ADL5511 device. The ADL5511 is an RF envelope and TruPwr RMS detector. The envelope output voltage is presented as a voltage that is proportional to the envelope of the input signal. The RMS output voltage is independent of the peak to average ratio of the input signal. For normal operation ADL5511-EVALZ evaluation board requires a 5V/100mA power supply. The 5V power supply should be connected to the clip leads labelled VPOS and GND. The RF input signals are applied to an edge mounted SMA type RF connector (RFIN). The envelope output signal is accessible via the SMA connector labelled VENV. The RMS output and envelope reference signals are accessible on the clip leads labelled VRMA and EREF. To access the RMS output and envelope reference output via SMA cables, SMA connectors can be soldered on to the pads labelled VRMS1 and EREF1.
