The AMW006 Numbat module is an ultra low power Wi-Fi networking module with full regulatory certification. It features a low power MCU and it is designed for battery operated applications requiring moderate data throughput in any volume. The AMW006 module combines a microcontroller with a BCM43362 Wi-Fi device to provide an advanced standalone Wi-Fi and networking solution. The module runs an embedded TCP/IP networking stack and webserver with restful API/websockets and SSL/TLS/HTTPS security and offers RF pads allowing for maximum antenna flexibility. The board is designed to work with ACKme"s WiConnect API and via ARM"s mbed environment. It is powered by a 3.3V power supply, a separate WLAN power supply pin is provided to minimize noise coupling into the WLAN subsystem. It incorporates a 32.768KHz crystal to maintain an accurate real time clock.
