The ICL7621DCPA+ from Maxim Integrated Products is a monolithic low power CMOS dual operational amplifier (op-amp) in 8 pin DIP package. It combines ultra low input current with low power operation over a wide supply voltage range. This op-amp operates from ±1V to ±8V power supplies or from single supplies from 2V to 16V with pin selectable quiescent currents of 10µA, 100µA or 1000µA per amplifier. The CMOS outputs swing to within millivolts of supply voltages. It is used in application where input bias and offset currents are critical. A low noise current of 0.01pA√Hz and an input impedance of 10^12ohm ensure optimum performance with very high source impedances in applications such as pH meters and photodiode amplifiers. The ICL7621D is used in battery powered instruments, low leakage amplifiers, long time constant integrators, low frequency active filters, hearing aids and microphone amplifiers, picoammeters and low droop rate sample/hold amplifiers.
