The ICL7663ACPA+ is a low power, adjustable output positive voltage linear regulator in 8 pin DIP package. It is a high efficiency programmable regulator with quiescent current of less than 10µA. The output voltage is set by two external resistors to any voltage in 1.3V to 16V range with an input voltage range of 1.5V to 16V. The ICL7663A is well suited for battery powered supplies where low quiescent current, 40mA output current capability, low Vin to Vout differential, logic input shutdown control, wide voltage range operation and current limiting is desired. In addition, the device has negative temperature coefficient output suitable for generating temperature compensated display drive voltage for multiplexed LCD display system. The ICL7663A is enhanced version of ICL7663 with 1% accurate voltage reference which eliminates the need for trimming the output voltage in most applications.
