The ISO7831DWWR from Texas Instruments is a high immunity, 5.7KVrms, high performance, 8000VPK reinforced triple 2/1 digital isolator in 16 pin WSOIC package. This device has reinforced isolation certifications according to VDE, CSA, TUV and CQC. It provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions at low power consumption while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. Each isolation channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by silicon dioxide insulation barrier. It comes with enable pins which can be used to put respective outputs in high impedance for multi master driving applications and to reduce power consumption. If input power or signal is lost, the default output is high for ISO7831F device. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, it helps prevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. It is used in power supplies, solar inverters & hybrid electric vehicles.
