The LOG114EVM is a ready to use platform for evaluating the performance of the LOG114 in various configurations. The LOG114 is specifically designed for measuring low level and wide dynamic range currents in communications, lasers, medical, and industrial systems. The device computes the logarithm or log ratio of an input current or voltage relative to a reference current or voltage (logarithmic trans impedance amplifier). The evaluation module comes configured to operate on a single 5V power supply. The circuit used in the evaluation module is designed to operate over a wide range of input currents (10nA to 10mA) and scales the output voltage from 1.15V to 2.75V. Additional circuitry includes a precision level shifter and high current linearity correction section.

●It is important to operate this EVM within the input voltage range of ±2.4V to ± 5.5V and the output voltage range of ±1.8 V to ±4.9V. Exceeding the specified input range may cause damage to the EVM.
