The MAX203EPP+G36 is a ±15KV ESD protected, +5V RS232 transceiver in 20 pin DIP package. It is a RS232 and V.28 transceiver with high ±15KV ESD HBM (Human Body Model) protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single 5V supply operation. This transceiver meets all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28 specifications at data rate up to 120Kbps when loaded. It does not require external charge pump capacitors. This device is typically used in battery powered equipment.
