The MAX4906ELB+T is a high /full speed USB 2.0 switch in 10 pin µDFN package. This analogue switch combines the low on capacitance (CON) and low on-resistance (RON) necessary for high performance switching applications. Device is designed for USB 2.0 high speed applications at 480Mbps. This switch will also handle all requirements for USB low and full speed signalling. It features two single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) switch and has a low 7ohm (max), on-resistance and 7pF (max) on-capacitance. Device is fully specified to operate from a single +3V to +3.6V power supply and is protected against a +5.5V short to COM1 and COM2. This feature makes it fully compliant with USB 2.0 specification of +5.5V fault protection. It features a low threshold voltage and a +1.4V VIH, permitting it to be used with low voltage logic. It is used in GPS, notebook computers, relay replacements, USB switching, Ethernet switching, video switching, Bus switches and T3/E3 switches for redundancy protection.
