The MAX6412UK42+T from Maxim Integrated Products is a low power single voltage microprocessor (µP) reset circuit with capacitor adjustable reset timeout delay in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This supervisory circuit monitors system voltages from 1.6V to 5V and it provides maximum adjustability for supply voltage monitoring and reset functionality. The MAX6412 is designed to assert a reset signal whenever VCC supply voltage or RESET IN falls below its reset threshold or manual reset input is asserted. The reset output remains asserted for reset timeout period after VCC and RESET IN rise above reset threshold and manual reset input is deasserted. The reset timeout is externally set by capacitor to provide more flexibility. This device has 4.2V fixed threshold and active-low, push-pull reset output. It is used in automotive, medical/portable equipment, intelligent instruments, battery-powered computers, embedded controllers, critical µP monitoring and set-top boxes.
● Supply voltage range from 1V to 5.5V
● Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
● Manual reset input
● Low quiescent current of 1.7µA at VCC <= 2V
● Reset valid to VCC = 1V
● Power supply transient immunity
● Reset timeout period of 4.375ms (CSRT = 1500pF)
