The MAX663ESA+ is a dual mode 5V/programmable micropower voltage regulator in 8 pin NSOIC package. It can be used as 5V, fixed output positive regulator with no additional components or can be adjusted from 1.3V to 16V using two external resistors. Fixed or adjustable operation is automatically selected via the Vset input. It is ideally suitable for battery-powered systems and also used in LCD display systems, pagers, radio controlled devices, remote data acquisition and telemetry.
