The MC74LCX245DTR2G is a low voltage CMOS octal transceiver in 20 pin TSSOP package. This high performance, non inverting octal transceiver has 5V tolerant inputs and outputs (3-state, non-inverting). High impedance TTL compatible inputs significantly reduces current loading to input drivers while TTL compatible outputs offer improved switching noise performance. A input voltage specification of 5.5V allows MC74LCX245 inputs to be safely driven from 5V devices if VCC is less than 5V. The MC74LCX245 is suitable for memory address driving and all TTL level bus oriented transceiver applications. The transmit/receive (T/R) input determines direction of data flow through bidirectional transceiver. Transmit (active-HIGH) enables data from A ports to B ports and receive (active-LOW) enables data from B to A ports. The MC74LCX245DTG has 3-state output current of ±5µA (VCC = 3.6V, VIN = VIH or VIL, VOUT = 0 to 5.5V) and propagation delay input to output of 7ns at CL = 50pF, VCC = 3.3V ±0.3V.
