The MC9S08SH8CTGR is a 8-bit General-purpose Microcontroller based on enhanced HCS08 CPU (20MHz bus) with CISC architecture operates at a maximum frequency of 40MHz. The device incorporates 8kB internal flash, 0.512kB internal RAM, an analog comparator, 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter and 13 general-purpose I/O pins. This device also features peripherals like one inter-integrated circuit (IIC) bus module to operate at up to 100kbps and one serial peripheral interface modules (SPI).
