The MCP111T-270E/TT is a MicroPower Voltage Detector with active-low open-drain output. The voltage-detecting device designed to keep a microcontroller in reset until the system voltage has stabilized at the appropriate level for reliable system operation. This device also operates as protection from brownout conditions when the system supply voltage drops below the specified threshold voltage level.
