The MOC3012M is a 6-pin 1-channel DIP 250V random phase Triac Driver Output Optocoupler contains a GaAs infrared emitting diode and a light activated silicon bilateral switch, which functions like a triac. This output optocoupler is optically isolated triac driver device. It is designed for interfacing between electronic controls and power triacs to control resistive and inductive loads for 115VAC operations.
