The MSP430F427IPM is a 16-bit ultra-low-power Mixed-signal Microcontroller features a powerful 16-bit RISC MSP430 CPU, 16-bit registers and constant generators that contribute to maximum code efficiency. The architecture combined with five low-power modes, is optimized to achieve extended battery life. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows wake-up from low-power modes to active mode in less than 6µs. The device configurations with 16-bit timer, 16-bit sigma-delta A/D converter, liquid crystal display driver, a hardware multiplier, an integrated differential programmable gain amplifier input stage and 14 general-purpose I/O pins. This device operates at a maximum frequency of 8MHz.
