The OP140A is a Plastic Infrared Emitting Diode with domed lens, 500ns fall time, 80° viewing angle and 1µs rise time. It is a high intensity gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode that is suited for use as a PCB mounted slotted switch or an easy mount PCB interrupter.
