The TPA3101D2EVM is a TPA3101D2 evaluation module consists of a single 10W, class-D, stereo audio power amplifier complete with a small number of external components mounted on a circuit board that can be used to directly drive a speaker with an external analog audio source as the input. The TPA3101D2 can drive stereo speakers as low as 4Ω . The high efficiency of the TPA3101D2, 87%, eliminates the need for an external heat sink when playing music. The gain of the amplifier is controlled by two gain select pins. The gain selections are 20dB, 26dB, 32dB, 36dB. Designers can quickly evaluate the sound quality and verify specifications in their application with the TPA3101D1EVM.
