Use this high side switch and usb power distribution switch TPS2044D USB powered Ethernet switch from Texas Instruments to control which one of your devices draws power. By only needing an input voltage of 2.7 V with a maximum of 5.5 V, this is the best way to control the power in your circuit. Its current limit is 0.9 A.
