The TSAL5100 is a 940nm Infrared Emitting Diode in GaAlAs/GaAs technology. It is moulded in a blue-grey plastic package. It is suitable for use in infrared remote control units with high power requirements, free air transmission systems, infrared source for optical counters and card readers, IR source for smoke detectors and smoke automatic fire detectors.
