The 74HC125D is a quad buffer/line driver with 3 state outputs controlled by output enable inputs in 14 pin SOIC package. A HIGH on output enable inputs causes outputs to assume high impedance OFF state. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.
