The FOD4208 is a 6-pin snubberless random phase TRIAC Driver consists of an infrared emitting diode coupled to a hybrid random phase TRIAC formed with two inverse parallel SCRs which form the TRIAC function capable of driving discrete TRIACs. It is suitable for solid-state relays, static motor starter and static power switches.
