The ISO7741EVM is a high speed, robust EMC quad-channel digital isolator evaluation module. This evaluation module is used to evaluate the high performance, reinforced quad channel digital isolator ISO7741 in wide body SOIC package (package code-DW). The EVM features more test points & jumper options to evaluate the device with minimal external components. The ISO7741 is a digital isolator family capable of galvanic isolations up to 8000Vpk. The device is certified to meet reinforced isolation requirements by VDE and CSA. It provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions at low power consumption, while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. The digital isolator have logic input and output buffers separated by a silicon oxide insulation barrier. Used with isolated power supplies, this device block high voltages, isolate grounds and prevent noise currents on a data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.
