The LP2980IM5-5.0 is a 5V fixed output ultra-low-dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator designed specifically to meet the requirements of battery-powered applications. Using an optimized VIP (Vertically integrated PNP) process, the device delivers unequalled performance in all specifications critical to battery-powered designs. The dropout voltage is typically 120mV at 50mA load and 7mV at 1mA load. The ground pin current is typically 375µA at 50mA load and 80µA at 1mA load.
