The MAX1364EUB+ from Maxim Integrated Products is a 4-channel, 12bit system monitor with programmable trip window and SMBus alert response in 10 pin µMAX package. This ADC has digitally programmable window comparator with an interrupt output for automatic system monitoring applications. Once configured, monitor mode automatically asserts an interrupt when any analogue input exceeds programmed upper or lower thresholds without interaction to host. It responds to SMBus alert by allowing quick identification of alarming device on shared interrupt. The device integrates an internal voltage reference, clock and 1.7MHz high speed I2C compatible 2-wire interface. The optimized interface allows maximum conversion rate of 94.4Ksps (normal) and 133Ksps (monitor mode). AutoShutdown powers down devices between conversions by reducing supply current to less than 1µA when idle. It is used in system monitoring/supervision, servers/workstations, medical and high reliability power supplies.
