AD8302ARUZ - ADI Function Overview

The AD8302ARUZ is a LF 2.7GHz RF/IF gain and phase detector in 14 pin TSSOP package. It is a fully integrated system for measuring gain/loss and phase in numerous receive, transmit and instrumentation applications. The AC coupled input signals can range from -60dBm to 0dBm in 50 ohm system from low frequencies up to 2.7GHz. The outputs provide an accurate measurement of either gain or loss over a ±30dB range scaled to 30mV/dB and phase over 0° to 180° range scaled to 10mV/degree. Both subsystems have an output bandwidth of 30MHz which may optionally be reduced by addition of external filter capacitors. The AD8302 can be used in controller mode to force gain and phase of signal chain toward predetermined setpoints. It comprises a closely matched pair of demodulating logarithmic amplifiers each having 60dB measurement range.
