The A000053 is a Arduino Micro development board based on the ATmega32u4 microcontroller. The ATmega32u4 is a 8bit AVR RISC based microcontroller featuring 32KB flash memory, 2.5KB SRAM, 1KB EEPROM, USB 2.0 full speed/low speed device, 10bit A to D converter and JTAG interface for on chip debug. The board contains everything needed to support the microcontroller, simply connect it to a computer with a micro USB cable to get started. It has a form factor that enables it to be easily placed on a breadboard. The Micro is similar to the Arduino Leonardo in that the ATmega32u4 has built in USB communication, eliminating the need for a secondary processor. This allows the Micro to appear to a connected computer as a mouse and keyboard, in addition to a virtual (CDC) serial/COM port. It also has other implications for the behaviour of the board. The Arduino Micro can be powered via the micro USB connection or with an external power supply. The power source is selected automatically.
● 16MHz crystal oscillator
● ICSP header
● Reset button
● Micro USB connection
● 20 digital input/output pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs)
● Input voltage (recommended) range from 7V to 12V
● Input Voltage (limit) range from 6V to 20V
● 32KB flash memory of which 4KB used by bootloader
● 2.5KB SRAM
● 1KB EEPROM
●The recommended range is 7 to 12 volts, if using more than 12V the voltage regulator may overheat and damage the board.
